New Video: "Dead Horse (Apologies to Emma Lazarus)"
I nspired by the Emma Lazarus poem "New Colossus" on the Statue of Liberty, and dedicated to people all over the U.S. standing up to the cruelty of ICE and the fascism of Trump, “ Dead Horse (Apologies to Emma Lazarus)" delivers a fierce, impassioned Good Morning America report to meet the intensity of our times. Our first official video in four years, "Dead Horse" pays homage to people who lost their lives at the hands of ICE -- either by gunfire or due to ICE / border patrol actions in the field -- since Trump began his 2nd term as president (it's all in the video , created by Minneapolis rocker-activist Christy Costello ). We finished the video at the end of February, and released it April 21st. Since we finished the video, four more people have been killed by federal immigration police, either due to border patrol negligence or ICE gunfire. Today is July 15, 2026.
